On Sunday amid rain and dirt came the appearance of the Dalai Lama. Contrasting the uninteresting climate was his message of warmth emphasising the significance of peace, compassion and concern over worldly affairs. The environment of homage to the actions which Glastonbury was founded upon was palpable. Accompanied on stage by previous rock greats The Who, the religious leader of Buddhism eloquently advanced his arguments whereas lambasting modern day violence.

In order the music ebbed away, so did rules return: Glastonbury 2015, though flecked with flaws, was capped off in fashion.
